-I do not recommend training for a PR before getting a running form and biomechanics evaluation because the fastest way to a PR is to unleash the hidden speed you currently have in your body.
-I do not recommend training on an injury, even if you have a race coming up because training on an injury will make the injury worse and highly likely that you will not run well in your race.
