If you do not have the functional strength your body needs to handle the running stresses you put on it…it will break down.
And often at the most inconvenient times… π«
And unfortunately running more miles is not enough to give you the functional strength you need to run farther and faster.
That is one of the main reasons why strength training is so important… πͺ
Because it strengthens your bones and balances your muscle power in ways that running doesn’t…
